For the next 3 weeks I’ll be traveling the Central American country of Belize. Starting in Caye Caulker and enjoying the island life. From there i’m doing a 3 day boat cruise that sails south through Belize’s barrier reef and staying on 2 private islands. I’ll stop in Hopkins and from there making my way to San Ignacio, then concluding my trip in San Pedro.

We arrive in the coastal village of Hopkins after travelling by ferry and bus from Caye Caulker. We share our time in Hopkins with you as we explore this village and try some delicious local foods. Hopkins Village is a coastal village located in eastern Belize, south f Belize City . Hopkins is a Garifuna village on the coast of the Stann Creek District in Belize and is considered by some Belizeans to be the cultural center of the Garifuna population in Belize.
