“The Mexican authorities took additional steps to keep the media cameras away, and non of the so-called ‘rescued-at-sea’ victims were photographed or interviewed. They were whisked away as if they were part of a secret-club,
A protocol that would not be normal for those recued at sea. The Americans wanted protection because they anticipated violence when they arrived at the port in Chetumal’,
Possible violence that was under the direction of someone on Ambergris Caye.

Authorities in Chetumal are reporting that a boat (water-taxi) that ferries passengers between San Pedro town and Chetumal had to be rescued, and that about 65 people onboard were rescued by the Mexican Navy.
The incident occurred on Wednesday night August 17th. 2022 at approximately 7pm. in the Chetumal Bay.
However, astute observers believe that there is a lot more to the incident than reported. The Mexican authorities have made an obvious effort to not publish photos of the people rescued and it is rumored to be all Americans, and that several individuals from the boat believe their life is in danger from other Americans on San Pedro and their operatives in Mexico, and are seeking the protection of Mexican Authorities.
