Corozal police are investigating the murder of 33yr-old Tracy Thompson of Calcutta village in Corozal District.
Initial reports are that on Friday, April 22nd, at about 6:15 a.m., Police responded to a report in Calcutta Village. Upon arrival, they observed the motionless body of a female inside a room with stab wounds to the body.
Police investigations indicate that “at about midnight on Friday, April 22nd., the deceased Tracy Thompson allegedly had a physical confrontation with her common-law husband Devon Logan, which resulted in Logan being chased from the residence.
However, sometime between midnight and 5:50 a.m., allegedly Devon Logan entered the house and inflicted the injuries on Thompson”.
