On Good Friday April 15. a fatal shooting occurred in the village of Guinea Grass in the Orange Walk District.
The victim has been identified as ‘Jose Miguel Cedillas’ of Guinea Grass.
Initial police reports are that a neighbor of Cedillas came into the his yard, pulled out a handgun and shot Cedillas 4 times. The shooter (name withheld) then drove away in a pick-up truck and is currently being sought by police.
