Men Walk Free From Rape Charges In Separate Cases: The Court Report, Feb. 24th. 2022

Today in the Supreme Court before newly appointed judge of the Supreme Court, Justice Ricardo O’Neal Sandcroft, two men walked free from separate sexual assault cases after the DPP submitted a ‘nolle prosequi‘ (not-prosecuted) against them.

They are 28-year-old, Kishane McDougal, who was charged and indicted on six counts of unlawful sexual intercourse of a minor minor then only 13 years old.

It was back in 2015 that McDougal was first arraigned before the Lower court charged only initially with one count of unlawful sexual intercourse.

The following year, on June 2, 2016, five more charges for unlawful sexual intercourse was slapped upon him.

Allegations are that between December 2015 and January 2016, McDougal had sexual intercourse with the minor who at the time was only thirteen years old.

The other sexual case was against Fabio Cuellar, who was 18 years-old at the time of his crime, he is now 25 years old.

Cuellar was charged and indicted on a single charge of rape of a senior citizen, a 73-year-old woman of the island.

Allegations made against Cuellar was that on November 16, 2015 he raped the elderly woman

Today the DPP entered a case of ‘nolle prosequi’ against both accused men who walked free.
