Belmopan police are investigating a shooting incident that claimed the life of Karina Andrews. Initial reports are that at about 10.30pm Saturday night February 12th. in the vicinity of a Restaurant near the Hummingbird Hwy. at the entrance to Belmopan City;
A Van with at least 6 occupants and the driver was hit with a barrage of gun-shots, and at lease 25 expended shells were recovered by police investigators.
Several persons in the van were hit, and Karina Andrews was fatally wounded and reportedly may have died instantly.
