Four new Supreme Court Judges were sworn in today
Three of the new Judges are women, and are Canadian nationals, and One a Jamaican national, man.

This morning four new judges were sworn in to the Supreme Court before the Acting L, Justice Madam Michelle Arana.
They are, Canadian national, Patricia Farnese, Suzan Lamb and Genevieve Chabot along with Jamaican national Ricardo Sandcroft.
We understand that Justice Farnese and Justice Chabot will be assigned judges of civil matters while Justice Lamb and Justice Sandcroft will be assigned to criminal matters.

Madam Justice Suzan Lamb was the Sr. Judicial Coordinator/Sr. Legal Officer in the courts of Cambodia between 2009-2013.
She was the Vice Dean and Professor and Executive Director-Jindal Global Law School, India between 2013-2014. Between 2014 to 2016 she was the Sr. Legal Advisor and Board Member NGO.
Madam Justice Patricia Farnese from 2018 to presently is a member of the Canada Agricultural Review Tribunal, Government of Canada. She has a Bachelor of Arts, University of Guelph, a Bachelors of Laws from, the University of Saskatchewan and a Masters of Laws from the University of Arkansas.
Madam, Justice Genevieve Chabot between 2012-2019 she was a part-time Professor at the University of Ottawa.
In 2016 to 2017she was the Yukon Human Rights Commission. From 2013 to 2017, she was with the Department of Justice Canada. From 2017 to presently she is the Deputy Chief Commissioner, Canadian Human rights Commission, Ottawa, Canada.
Mr. Justice Ricardo Sandcroft was a Child Law Consultant/Civil & Criminal Court Advocate, private practice in Jamaica in 2014.
In 2013 he was a part-time Lecturer in Constitutional Law and Human Rights.
From 2016 to 2019, he was a Lecturer in Law in Jamaica. In 2020 Master (Judge in Chambers) (Ag.), Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court, assigned to St. Lucia, Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands.
