On Thursday December 9th. at about 8.30pm. A road-traffic-accident (RTA) occurred on the ‘Blue-Creek-Road’ near the village of San Felipe, in the Orange Walk District.
The victim has been identified as ‘Dr Jose Victor Can’ of San Felipe. Orange Walk District. Initial reports are that Doctor Can’s vehicle collided with a government vehicle which ran off the road and flipped over several times before coming to a stop about 70-feet from the roadside,
‘Doctor Can’ was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and the occupants of the other vehicle reportedly received minor injuries.
‘Dr. Jose Can’ worked at the Northern Regional Hospital in the COVID unit since March 2021. He is survived by his wife and 2 children.
