Reports are that Carter was shot as many as seven times, he was rushed to the KHMH where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

At about 6pm (Tuesday Night) 45 year old Floyd Carter was shot multiple times near a Chinese Shop on West Collet Canal in Belize City. ( 1 block from the Novelos Bus Terminal & Market ).

Less than 3 hours later a second murder occurred at approximately 8..35pm.

Dwayne Cherrington was fatally shot to the head on Holy Emmanuel Street in Belize City. Both murders are reportedly the result of ongoing gang warfare in the city.
